NFAW has supported the establishment of a national women’s alliance—bringing together women’s organisations and individuals from across Australia to share information, and identify issues and solutions to influence government policy making. Through this Alliance NFAW is affiliated with:
Women on Boards— an online network to improve the gender balance on boards—began as a NFAW project in 2001, in conjunction with the Foundation for Australian Agricultural Women and a number of other women’s organisations (with funding from the Federal Office for Women under its Development Grants Program). In 2006 Women on Boards became an entity in its own right but continues to work in association with NFAW.
