Marian Eldridge Award

This year the tenth and final Marian Eldridge Award for an aspiring woman writer was announced at a ceremony on 8 November.  The Award provides the winner with $2,000 plus generous discounts on programs at Varuna; and for the winner and those commended the opportunity to have work published in an American literary journal The Broadill Review.

Preferred donor fund

NFAW is the only broadly focused women's organization to have tax-deductible status in its own right, through its listing in the Schedule to the Income Tax Assessment Act.

NFAW encourages other women's organizations or projects to access this assistance to tax-effective fund raising through the NFAW Preferred Donor Arrangements.

NFAW is a feminist organisation, independent of party politics and working in partnership with other women’s organisations.

These organisations include those committed to increasing support for women in Australia as well as those with a special interest in women's history.
